QUARANZINE: Art in Isolation
a collaborative arts zine celebrating creators during social distancing
Letter From the Editor
Thank you for taking the time to check out Quaranzine, a zine created to give myself and other artists something to create for during this uncertain time. So many of us have lost opportunities due to COVID-19. Maybe we lost our jobs, or our bookings, or even an event we were looking forward to. One thing we will always have, though, is our art. Our ability to create beauty out of the ugliest of times. While this has been a horrendous time due to not only the virus, but our government’s failure to act with swiftness and respect for the people of this country, I have faith in our ability to come together in new and creative ways. This publication is a labor of love, and something I could not have done without my community, my friends, and my family.
Digital Zine Released May 15th
Quaranzine: Art in isolation was created to provide artists with a space to showcase the works they’ve created during this time of isolation.
HOW (can I support)?
Each artist will have payment info in their bios for readers to contribute. Show love to creators during this time, as many have lost funds and jobs during COVID-19.
